Now that Gays Have Come Out, Dwyane Wade and Gabrielle Union Should Be Hiding in a Closet

Why would anyone bother to oppose gay marriage, when the heterosexual version of the institution is already shattered into a million and one jagged pieces?  I made the mistake of reading an article on supermodel Gabrielle Union's engagement to NBA star, Dwyane Wade, which only confirmed my suspicion that marriage as a sacred institution may be crumbling far faster than we thought.  And gays cannot be made the scapegoats since they have been denied access to the institution for so long.    

I felt sorry for Ms. Union when news accounts revealed that  her fiance had just admitted fathering a baby by another woman during their engagement.  But then I learned that she had in fact snatched Dwyane Wade from his first wife.  So now that gays have come out, there should be enough room for Gabrielle Union and that shameless fiance of hers to go hide in a closet (one large enough to accommodate the whole Kardashian family as well).   Maybe gay marriage can help re-invigorate an institution that is vital to human survival and yet decomposing before our very eyes.
