Black-Texans-Bring-Your- AR-15s-to-the-Alamo-Rally (And Don't Forget to Wear Hoodies)

I'm a strict gun control advocate.  But of late, my home state of Texas has spiralled so far beyond any semblance of normal, that it's time to consider extraordinary measures. My inspiration for this event was the rally held by White Texans on October 19th outside the Alamo in San Antonio. Lugging around shotguns, hunting rifles, AR-15s and AK-47s, they insisted that their only goal was to call attention to their legal rights in Texas to carry arms openly.  More specifically, the rally was in support of two men who had been threatened with arrest for brandishing rifles inside a local Starbucks

So, it may be time for Black Texans to grab their AR-15s and head down to the Alamo for their own right-to-bear-arms rally.   I'll come up with some patriotic sounding cause, like protecting the right of minorities to arm themselves to the teeth.
At yesterday's rally, the police chief had little choice but to suspend a local ordinance prohibiting  anyone other than a law enforcement official from carrying a loaded rifle or shotgun on any public street in the city.  According to an article in the New York Times:
Gun advocates in Texas have started using their right to carry rifles publicly as part of a push to expand handgun laws. They want Texas to join several states that have allowed people licensed to carry concealed firearms to wear their weapons on their hips, unconcealed, if they wish.

Gun Rally at Alamo
But why do I have such a strong suspicion that the police wouldn't stand around doing nothing at my rally as they did at yesterdays?  Why am I also certain that the Texas National Guard units would have been called out and every last demonstrator arrested or worse? However, just to prove that my rally is about gun rights, not race, I was even going to invite George Zimmerman to give the keynote address.
